Synaptics has recently introduced the SYN20708 low-power IoT SoC designed to handle simultaneous Bluetooth 5.4 Classic/Low Energy and IEEE 802.15.4 radios with Zigbee, Thread, and Matter protocols. The SoC integrates power and low-noise amplifiers and two separate radios enable simultaneous multiprotocol operations. The SoC is based on a 160 MHz Arm Cortex-M4 processor with user-accessible OTP memory for configuration. Murata has recently introduced two new ultra-low power, sub-1 GHz Wi-Fi HaLow modules (LBWA0ZZ2HK and LBWA0ZZ2HL) compliant with Sub-1 GHz (S1G) 802.11ah Wi-Fi standard across key regions. The Type 2HK module operates at frequencies from 902MHz to 928MHz and features a communication range of 2km, whereas the low-power Type 2HL operates at 750MHz to 950MHz and can communicate over 1km. According to Murata, these modules can achieve high-speed communication over 1km and are suitable for applications such as smart devices, smart homes, smart accessories, and others. The modules are based on the NEWRACOM NRC7394 chipset built around an Arm Cortex-M3 with enough processing power for handling the Wi-Fi subsystem and user applications. Renesas RZ/T2H industrial MPU is the most powerful member of its RZ/T2 series of real-time microprocessors. The MPU features four Arm Cortex-A55 CPUs for application tasks and two Cortex-R52 CPUs for real-time control. Renesas RRH47000-EVK board integrates RRH47000 CO2 sensor with Β±75 ppm accuracy, relative humidity and temperature sensors

Renesas has recently released the RRH47000-EVK evaluation board based on the RRH47000 CO2 sensor using non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology to measure CO2 levels accurately (Β±75 ppm typical) within the 0-5000 ppm range. The sensor also includes built-in sensors for relative humidity and temperature, operates at low power, and supports either UART or I2C interface to the host. These features make this device useful for applications like HVAC systems, industrial automation, building control, air quality monitors, home appliances, IoT devices, and agriculture. MYiR Tech MYC-LR3576 is a system-on-module (SoM) based on Rockchip RK3576 octa-core Cortex-A72/A53 SoC with a 6 TOPS NPU and 8K video support suitable for AIOT applications that powers the MYD-LR3576 development board. The SoM supports up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage, along with a 32Kbit EEPROM. Connectivity options include dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 3.2, and more. For multimedia, it supports HDMI, DisplayPort, eDP, MIPI-DSI, and MIPI CSI interfaces, and up to 8K video decoding/4K video encoding. The MYC-LR3576 also offers several audio I/O and multiple GPIO and I2C interfaces suitable for embedded systems. SolidRun has recently introduced HummingBoard i.MX8M IIOT SBC and IIOT-200-8M Gateway built around the NXP i.MX 8M Plus Edge AI processor. Designed for IIoT and HMI applications the SBC hosts the NXP i.MX 8M Plus SOM which gives access to various connectivity options, including dual Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, CAN-FD, RS232/RS485, and audio. Additionally, it has support for industrial protocols such as Modbus and MQTT, making it suitable for factory automation and smart energy projects.
